Final exam
1. It is better to make mistakes when learning a new skill, so you can learn from the errors
Do you agree or disagree with the statement? Write specific reason and examples to support your answer.
From my personal experience, a mistake is something that we all should experience. Especially when we're learning a new skill. So I definitely agree with this statement. When we're getting old day by day, we have to realize that everything in this world doesn't have to be perfect, including us. Example: When you have something to achieve for your future and then you make a big plan to achieve that, but unfortunately your plan doesn't go well, it means there's a mistake, there's something wrong with your plan, and you have to fix that. You have to try again with a better plan. Because we had experienced a mistake before, we could take that as a lesson. Believe me, a mistake is a thing that we should experience, because learning from mistakes can help you develop your skills and yourself to be a better person than before.
2. Good friends should have varied interests and personalities, instead of having similar tastes.
Do you agree or disagree with the statement? Write specific reason and examples to support your answer.
It's hard to answer this, but I have to say I disagree with it. Not having the same interests, personalities, and tastes doesn't always make them good friends. Although there's nothing wrong with having the same interests, personalities, and tastes, In fact, we can build friendships by sharing interests, learning from each other's skills to develop our own, and understanding each other even more because we feel what they feel. We can take clubs in school as an example: there are book clubs, art clubs, sports clubs, and more. They're all have the same interest and common.
3. Colleges and Universities have the responsibility to give their students options for clubs and activities outside of classes.
Do you agree or disagree with the statement? Write specific reason and examples to support your answer.
I think I agree with this. Because we, as humans, can do anything. So, no wonder people might have a lot of hobbies, interests, or skills. The problem is that we cannot have all the skills at the same level. For example, I like drawing and learning English. Between these two, there's something higher than the other. I think choosing a club might be a way for us to improve the skill that doesn't really work. And hopefully, it could benefit the college itself.
